Janet Frame is well known to have loved France and French literature and so it's pleasing to note that the publisher for the long awaited French translation of her posthumously released novel Towards Another Summer can now be confirmed.
An agreement was recently reached between the Janet Frame Estate and Gallimard imprint Editions Joelle Losfeld for a renewal of the rights of eight of Frame's titles formerly published by Losfeld, as well as the rights for Frame's posthumous novel Towards Another Summer.
Vive la France!
